Pretty Savoyard village with sheltered tree-lined family terrain.

Les Gets is the prettiest village on the French side of Portes du Soleil, at 1,172 m on the Mont Chéry / Pointe de Nyon lift system. The terrain is mostly tree-lined and sheltered, which makes it the area's strongest poor-weather option for families. The village centre is walkable Savoyard rather than purpose-built. Most accommodation is small chalets and apart-hotels; the link to the wider Portes du Soleil runs through Morzine.
