Kelchsau is a quiet side-valley village at 717 m above Hopfgarten, off the main SkiWelt loop and best known to ski tourers and freeriders for the Lange Wand and Floch ranges above. Local lifts are limited; most skiers drive or bus down to Hopfgarten for the main lift base. Suits experienced skiers seeking off-piste access and a working-village feel rather than nightlife.
