Veysonnaz

Sun-soaked balcony village with the Piste de l'Ours World Cup downhill.

Veysonnaz is the sun-balcony base of the 4 Vallées at 1,200 m, perched on a south-facing terrace above the Rhône valley. The local lift system feeds onto the Thyon-Veysonnaz sector, with onward connections to Nendaz and Verbier across snow. The Piste de l'Ours World Cup downhill drops back into the village. Lodging is small chalets and family-run hotels; the village is quieter than Verbier, with families and intermediate skiers as the core market.
