La Tzoumaz is the family-friendly back-side of the Savoleyres ridge, a small Valais village at 1,350 m on the opposite side from Verbier. The single Savoleyres gondola climbs onto the 4 Vallées network with direct piste-down access to Verbier. Lodging is small chalets and family apart-hotels; the village stayed quiet and value-leaning. Best for families and skiers who want 4 Vallées access without Verbier's intensity.
