La Tania
Quiet forest village built for the 1992 Olympics, mid-priced.
La Tania is a small purpose-built base built for the 1992 Albertville Olympics in the forest between Méribel and Courchevel Le Praz at 1,400 m. The village stays tree-lined and pedestrianised, with a single main square. Lift access via the Dou des Lanches gondola connects directly into both Courchevel and Méribel sectors. The lower altitude makes it more weather-dependent than Val Thorens or upper Courchevel; the trade-off is one of the most affordable bases inside Les 3 Vallées.
