Courchevel
Glamorous Tarentaise valley with four lift-linked villages at different price tiers.
Courchevel is the showpiece of the Tarentaise: four numbered villages (1300 Le Praz, 1550, 1650 Moriond, 1850) stepped up the mountain. Courchevel 1850 is the high-end base, with Michelin-starred restaurants, helicopter access, and a heated pedestrian centre. 1650 Moriond is family-friendly and quieter; Le Praz is the prettiest but the lowest. The lift system is the most efficient in Les 3 Vallées and connects directly to Méribel and the wider area.
