Zürs is the Arlberg's most exclusive base, a Vorarlberg pass-village at 1,716 m on the Flexenpass road between Lech and Stuben. The village dates to 1937 (the world's first parallel-skiing course) and lodging is uniformly 4- and 5-star: almost no self-catering or budget options exist.
