Genting Snow Park sits in the mountains around Chongli, in northern Hebei province northwest of Beijing. This is a high, dry, continental setting on the cold inland plateau, where the terrain runs across open, treeless slopes well above the surrounding valleys.

Getting there

Fly into Beijing Capital (PEK), about 3.5 hours from the resort by road. The train is a practical alternative.

Directions

The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail reaches Taizicheng (Chongli) in about 1h, then a short shuttle. Much faster than the drive.
