Samnaun

Samnaun is the Swiss side of the Silvretta Arena ski domain, a duty-free border village in Graubünden lift-linked on snow to Ischgl in Austria. The Samnaun base sits at 1,840 m with cable-car access to the 2,872 m Palinkopf summit; from there the runs roll across to the Idalp lift system above Ischgl. The local terrain favours strong intermediates, and the village is quieter and family-leaning compared to its boisterous Tyrolean neighbour.
