Les Contamines-Montjoie

Snow-sure southern outlier with steeper terrain than the Megève side.

Les Contamines-Montjoie is a Haute-Savoie village at 1,164 m at the southern end of the Évasion Mont-Blanc lift system, with the area's most snow-sure conditions thanks to a more isolated, protected aspect. The village is traditional and family-focused, small chalets, working farms, and the local terrain skews more challenging than the Megève side, with several long advanced runs off Aiguille Croche.
